Duties/Responsibilities
a) Specific Tasks:

  • The Contractor will provide consolidated weekly meeting reports for all meetings external to DHA MEDLOG Fort Detrick. The contractor will represent the DHA position
  • Document technical meetings such as the RMF IPT with a level of understanding and writing abilities that facilitates simple understanding for the reader.
  • Provide products generated from face to face meetings, manage repositories of technical writing products, and distribute updated or clarifying information.
  • Deliver consistent technical writing practices and communication at the level appropriate for the audience or business department
b) Key Personnel Job Duties: Drafts for review, approval, and implementation DHA MHS enterprise wide policies, procedures, clinical technology technical evaluations, equipment procurement packages, enterprise (joint) requirements, assessments of new technology, meeting minutes, and documenting recommendations from single or multiple SME’s on typically contested or controversial technical topics.   Provides coordination and technical support for routine and unscheduled meetings. Facilitates the delivery of in person conferences, audio or video conference calls, work groups, Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), and either formal or informal gatherings of personnel for the life cycle management of clinical technology and the DHA HTM PMO. Drafts, revises, and staff’s documents and maintains a digital repository of all DHA HTM knowledge products for internal DHA MEDLOG utilization. Collects, drafts, and submits meeting minutes, policies, procedures, findings, expert opinions, guidance, and DHA HTM PMO external communications. Provides expertise in the format, procedures, development, and the overall staffing process of official documents such as but not limited to, DHAPM or yet to be developed products such as the DHA MHS 

c) Description: Assures the DHA acquires clinically reliable, safe, and effective clinical technologies across the DOD enterprise. Provides technical writing expertise and support to the DHA Chief, HTM and the DHA HTM Program Management Office (PMO) staff consisting of General Schedule (GS), military, and contract SME’s. Develops and refines step by step procedures, checklists, and assessment tools that can be used throughout the DHA MHS enterprise for periodic review of the respective program.

d) Responsibilities: Drafts and supports revision of DHA MHS enterprise wide policies, procedures, clinical technology technical evaluations, equipment procurement packages, acquisition sensitive documentation, enterprise requirements, assessments of new technology, meeting minutes, and documenting recommendations from single or multiple SME’s on typically contested or controversial technical topics. Provides coordination and technical support for routine and unscheduled meetings. Facilitates delivery of in person conferences, audio or video conference calls, work groups, Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), and either formal or informal gatherings of personnel for the life cycle management of clinical technology and the DHA HTM PMO. Develops, documents, and maintains a digital repository of all DHA HTM knowledge products for internal DHA MEDLOG utilization. At the direction of the DHA Chief, HTM distributes meeting minutes, policies, procedures, findings, expert opinions, guidance, and DHA HTM PMO external communications. Delivers expertise in the format, procedures, development, and the overall staffing process of official documents such as but not limited to, DHAPM or yet to be developed products such as the DHA MHS Clinical Engineering – Biomedical Maintenance Management policy and procedures.

4) Additional Requirements

            a) Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

            b) 3-5 Years of Related Experience
