3 month contract-to-hire
Starting Pay: $17.85-$19.25/hour (based on practical test results and experience)

Candidate must possess steel toed boots or shoes.
Candidate must pass a background and drug screen prior to start.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

? Adherence to all department work instructions
? Ensure respective area is compliant with 5S standards and all Lean Principals pertaining to SMC standards
? Process all necessary paperwork associated with established machining standards
? Execute basic to advanced work flow tasks on established SMC systems
? Conduct basic preventative maintenance on machines and adhere to all SMC safety rules and OSHA/ISO regulations
? Basic knowledge of SMC products and raw material properties
? Apply proper feed and speed rates for individual machines and materials
? Conduct minor editing/modifications to programs for special
? Re-machine or modify original parts according to new dimensions and/or customer requirements
? Program machine in accordance with blueprint specifications
? Troubleshoot routine equipment breakdowns
? Work from SMC blueprints for standard and modified parts
? Ability to setup and operate vertical mills or horizontal lathe machine, including other equipment such Bridgeport lathes and
mills NC saws, polygonal, thread roll, tie-rod machine, clean machine, bead blast machines, manual drill and tape machines.
? Adhere to all QA management system standards of machined parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance
? Conduct CIMCO program execution on all CNC equipment assigned
? Understand work flow from SMC advanced blueprints for standard and modified parts
? Understand Perform Heat Shrink Process and Operations on all tooling equipment used in the shop
? Perform and execute Master Cam Operation as they pertain to CNC equipment
? Basic understanding of Sold Works as it pertains to job operation
? Conduct work inspection using advanced measuring tools or GO or NO GO gage
? Execute all set-ups and programming of either all advanced milling or Lathe operations with minor assistance from
engineering

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Associates degree in a technical related field or equivalent experience or must be able to pass a proficient written test and a
practical test administered by client using blue print drawings (Doc .No. Fig. MA 16-0011 and Doc NO MA16-0012)
? Must have ability to take a practical test based on mills or lathe skill set and the test must be executed within an hour time
frame
? Ability to work well in a team environment setting
? Must be able to work in a Detail Oriented settings
? Must have the Ability to effectively communicate with other department within the plant
? 3-5 years prior experience in the Machine Operation field
? Basic computer skills required
