Our company is in search of an experienced bookkeeper to assist within our business. The bookkeeper will be responsible for recovering sales tax, reconciling invoices, as well as simple bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and detail oriented.
- Recovering sales tax.
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balancing accounts and reconciling invoices.
- Maintaining a general ledger, as well as historical records by filing documents.
- Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, advising management on needed actions.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience using QuickBooks.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with QuickBooks.
- Must be able to provide 3 references from past employers.
